Senior PHP Developer

Talisman Innovations is a growing software company, establishing a new presence on the South Coast. We have an opening for a capable Senior PHP Developer to join our creative company.

Talisman develops and markets TIDE, a retail integration PaaS – we allow retailers (and the agencies they work with) to connect cloud-based retail systems quickly and easily – we cover systems such as: eCommerce, EPOS, Finance, ERP, CRM, Inventory.

We’re an early stage team looking to grow our capacity to develop the platform further with new connectors being added and custom connection projects undertaken.

We need you to have 5+ yrs. of PHP / Symfony experience, and a good knowledge of APIs and integrations.

This role will be client facing, including: attending business development and client meetings, undertaking business analysis with the client and the systems that we connect with.

About You

• Proven skills in building large web and CLI applications in PHP 7 / Symfony 3
• Experience building clients for REST and SOAP based APIs
• Practical experience of development tools and methodologies – SCRUM, Git, JIRA, PHPUnit, Postman etc.
• Experience in business analysis and documenting requirements
• Someone who is self-motivated and can work autonomously
• Clear and concise communicator
• Someone who can contribute ideas for the platform
• Team leadership or scrum master experience a plus
• Some knowledge of retail business and platforms would be useful

Salary and Benefits

• £40,000 – £45,000 per year
• Office-based – Location: Bournemouth (near the town centre)
• Option of home working from time-to-time
